Sasse is a 10.5 year old Airedale
Terrier who I rescued via Airedale Rescue at age 9. She weighs 65
pounds now (correct for her size) down from 85 when found by
rescue. We live in Morgantown, WV. Sasse is special to me not
only because of the hard life times she faced and the fact that
she was the perfect dog for me at the time, even though rescue
had tagged her as hard to place due to her age. She was probably
placed quicker than most as she became available and I spoke for
her within days. It did take about 3 weeks to arrange for her
transportation to WV from North Carolina, but once we were
united, you'd never have known she wasn't mine from a baby. It is
due to Sasse that I now have her little brother, Storm, also an
Airedale Terrier and have become a vocal supporter of both
Airedale Rescue and the breed in general.
